Abilityforce & Easterseals Partner Together

As we celebrated Easterseal’s 100th Anniversary in Salesforce Tower last month, we were surrounded by people who believe in our purpose—to change the way the world defines and views disabilities by making positive, profound differences in people’s lives every day. This dedicated group included volunteers from Abilityforce, one of Salesforce’s equality and inclusion groups. We’re incredibly grateful they volunteered at our event and are thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with Abilityforce.

Abilityforce, Salesforce’s ability inclusion group, unites people with visible and invisible disabilities and supports employees with loved ones who have disabilities. Abilityforce goes the extra mile to ensure their physical and technological environments are accessible and designed for all abilities. By developing and implementing innovative practices, Abilityforce cultivates an inclusive culture for all employees and inspires them to feel empowered by their abilities and talents every day.

At Easterseals, we believe that all individuals with disabilities and special needs should have access to high-quality, customized, and educational activities that enable them to learn, work, and play to their full potential. As we partner with Abilityforce, we’re excited to continue creating a culture of equality for all. Abilityforce’s dedication to creating a community where everyone feels empowered to reach their full potential aligns with our values—courage, integrity, innovation, passion, excellence, and lokahi.

Catherine Nichols, Senior Director of Safety & Resilience at Salesforce and VP of Abilityforce Global, spoke at our 100th anniversary event.

“Abilityforce at Salesforce would like to congratulate Easterseals on 100 years of creating tremendous impact for people with disabilities. We are proud to support Easterseals in creating a future where every one of us is 100% included and 100% empowered.”

With 3,000 members globally, Abilityforce is already growing substantially and making a positive impact in the workplace. They support our goal to create a future where everyone is 100% included and 100% empowered. Recently, they began fundraising for Easterseals’ 100th year milestone via our 100for100 campaign. The campaign runs between April 22, 2019 and July 31, 2019.

We look forward to developing and strengthening this long-term partnership with Salesforce.
