The CDC recently announced that 1 in 31 children across diverse communities, including historically underrepresented groups, were identified as having autism, reflecting a significant rise in early detection and awareness. Additionally, it’s been found that 1 in 6 children is being diagnosed with a developmental disability, including autism, Down syndrome, AD/HD and cerebral palsy. Early intervention rates have dramatically increased, with children born in 2018 being nearly twice as likely to receive an autism diagnosis by age 4 compared to those born in 2014—underscoring the urgent need to fund equitable, community-based programs that ensure every child gets the care they deserve.
Donations like yours have helped us get the kinds of support and supplies that keep our services thriving, from the various tools we use during assessments that help children start their treatment journey, to the single-use items we use for sensory sessions that help clients of all ages in our programs self-regulate and connect.
Your life and mine shall be valued not by what we take, but by what we give.
