Kalina Hatzell

Kalina Hatzell is a strategic and values-driven leader with over 15 years of experience in behavioral health, autism services, and healthcare operations. As the Senior Director of Behavioral Health at Easterseals Northern California, Kalina oversees the planning, operations, and clinical performance of multidisciplinary programs across diverse regions, with a strong focus on access, equity, and community need.
Kalina began her career in 2008 as an in-home behavior therapist and has since held progressive leadership roles in both clinical and operational capacities. Her work spans early intervention, assessment, adolescent and adult services, and organizational transformation initiatives. She is a passionate advocate for integrated care and culturally responsive service delivery.
A recognized speaker and thought leader, Kalina has presented at national conferences including ABAI (2018, 2024, 2025), the Milestones National Autism Conference (2021), and the Pacific Rim International Conference on Disability and Diversity (2024, 2025). Her recent work highlights include advancing Caregiver-mediated ABA models and piloting innovative approaches to clinical development.
Kalina holds a Master’s in Child Development, an MBA in Healthcare Administration, and is currently pursuing a PsyD in Clinical Psychology. She has been a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst since 2015 and remains committed to mentoring emerging clinicians and shaping the future of inclusive, person-centered care.
